Major Responsibilities
This position is responsible for maintenance of its assigned international vendors. The coordinator must analyze and understand all styles that are written under a purchase order and their given ship windows. This position also handles imports, exports, and return to vendors, classification & document turnovers. Additionally, there are a number of steps to complete all the necessary purchase order pre-work, including detailing every style ordered for the assigned vendors. These details are imperative to decreasing time-to-market if properly completed so efficiency, attention to detail, and follow up are required skills. Also, the coordinator is responsible for analyzing the morning pre-class, WIP report and turnover queue for management. The success of the International Department depends on how well this team completes the preliminary tasks associated with every style ordered making this role critical.
Role responsibilities include:
• Manage assigned vendors.
• Request and enter buy-sheets, pre-class, and HTS codes provided by Carmichael.
• Provide ELC’s to buyers once PO has been classified.
• Correspond with vendors/buyers /Mint agencies to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Research and resolve exceptions.
• Set up new vendors.
• Work the export desk every Wednesday and the third Friday of every month.
• Review Adhoc PO report daily.
• End of month folder reconciliation.
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
• Minimum 4 year degree
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred
• Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, process, and procedures
• Must be resourceful and hold strong problem-solving capabilities
• Must possess a positive, solution-oriented and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal skills with capability and desire to work within a collaborative team
• Excellent Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
