Responsibilities
Primary Purpose: The Coordinator of Facilities Repair and Maintenance is responsible for the administration of construction, repairs and maintenance across the brands of kate spade new york. The responsibilities extend for the coordination and repair of all retail stores, deliveries, source materials and vendors, administer “go-back” store enhancements, purchasing and process payment. This position will support functions from store design, construction and facilities.

• Responsible for ensuring the preventative maintenance of all retail properties.
• Provide support on all construction processes, store openings; maintain and update stores as required.
• Support facilities maintenance and management for retail store locations; ongoing to include international.
• Partner with cross functional teams on all maintenance and store related projects to include store design, visual and IT.
• Build and maintain subcontractor relationships.
• Quality control and process improvement.
• Approve all maintenance that falls within designated approval limit.
• Evaluate and validate that all maintenance proposals match work performed and submit invoices for payment.
• Manage outside facilities network and ensure billing is up to date.
• Ensure all business licenses are submitted and renewals are completed.
• Anticipate challenges and obstacles and proactively recommend solutions.
• Meet critical deadlines in a fast pace retail market.
