Description
Responsibilities:
• Work with brand managers to understand Global brand strategy and develop methods and tactics to localize execution and improve market share.
• Consolidate the Marketing Calendar in order to maintain innovation and promotional efforts by client as well as trade marketing strategies and execution at store level.
• Support marketing managers and Travel Retail sales team to follow up on all the trade marketing strategies.
• Prepare customized selling presentations and preparation for retailer meetings as requested by Sales Manager.
• Keep track of the result of the promotions. The brand managers will develop and execute America’s Travel Retail promotions (concept & mechanism, implementation).
• Ensure and follow up that GWPs (Gift w/Purchase), POS (Point of Sale) materials are shipped on time for promotion according to the Marketing Calendar. This includes supply of testers and POS needs.
• Submit Creative Requests for launches, innovation, in-store tools, advertising, duratrans and all creative art needs. Coordinate with outside vendors for asset production and delivery to accounts as needed. Ensure vendor relationships are maintained. Maintain and monitor deadlines.
• Update POS spreadsheet detail by door as needed with each location’s visual, promotional, tester and marketing material needed.
• Analyze and develop the assortment mix following the brand strategy by retailer or location. This includes, promo items, best sellers and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare customized planograms for each client with the available planograms software and make visuals/duratrans updates at each POS. Ensure visual expiration guidelines are followed.
• Support the forecasting process done by brand managers for innovation, collateral, sets and TREX.
• Update and monitor the innovation shipping tracker on a monthly basis.
• Coordinate and follow up on the entire “CAPEX” process with sales mangers, brand managers, clients and vendors. This includes relationships with local producers and agencies as well as store/client interaction.
• Assist brand managers in POS execution tactics by following the brand’s guidelines in each POS.
• Identify and develop the online presence opportunities for our brands within our retailer’s websites.
Financial and Administrative
• Review margin delivery and ROI for any innovation, promotional endeavor or POS needs and monitor budget compliance.
• Coordinate brand reviews and region performance. This includes programming meetings and presenting the analysis of performance.
• Use Business Objectives and Insight Informational tools for any forecasting, shipment or analytical needs.
• Maintain marketing communications and relevant information for the sales teams.
• Facilitate communications with cross functional support groups to ensure sales and marketing objectives are executed and STT/Launch requirements are met.
Knowledge & Skills & Abilities
• IT skills: Excellent PC skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Agile.
• Financial systems: Experience in Insight / JDE / SAP a plus
• Personal skills: Stability of performance under pressure with a clear sense of what needs to be
done, establish priorities and undertake necessary measures toward the
desired outcome. Contributor of ideas and capable of working independently.
• Interpersonal skills:Ability to ethically, respectfully and effectively work with colleagues,
management, customers and vendors to accomplish goals. Demonstrate cross-
functional collaboration.
• Travel requirements: Up to 20%
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience, within a consumer goods company preferred.
• Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
