PREMIUM FASHION SEGMENT – VISUAL MERCHANDISING INTERNSHIP

The Visual Merchandising Internwill partner with the visual merchandising team on presentation and styling standards within the visual studio. The intern will assist with photography of visual studio environment for monthly store sets, ensure visual sample closet inventory is promptly checked in and organized on a weekly basis, and assist the visual department as needed with the setup of varies events, meetings, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic understanding of Visual Merchandising
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe creative suite is a plus
• Industry and Trend aware
• Organized, detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
PROGRAM DETAILS
The ascena Summer Internship Program targets top university students for a future career in retail. This highly selective program offers participants an opportunity to explore the fashion industry, focusing on the Product Life Cycle. During the program, interns will gain exposure to the business through hands-on learning, executive exposure, team projects and so much more. Internships are paid, full time and run for 10 weeks.
Requirements
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
• Must be a recent college graduate (Class of 2018) or rising Senior (Class of 2019)
• Resume and a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Professional / Academic recommendations (two)
• Ability to independently secure housing
