The Manager of International Ecommerce supports the global expansion of our ecommerce business, allowing us to have a consistent ecommerce presence across the globe. This US based role will be a key partner to internal international brand management teams, local ecommerce leaders in our owned/operated markets, and our international franchisee partner organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the international ecommerce business in each country outside of the US (both owned and operated franchisees)
• Responsible for establishing a process to set-up ecommerce business in markets outside of the US
• Understand the requirements for each country (product, marketing, technology, logistics, etc.)
• Partner on roadmap for international ecommerce development and operations
• Establish a specific project plan for implementation of the online business
• Establish training required to operate business in line with AEO standards/practices
• Act as a key partner to the local ecommerce leads to ensure consistency of customer experience in all markets
• Provide oversight to customer experience once digital presence is established in a market
• Ensure that guidelines and experience are consistent
• Interface between in-market teams and US based teams
• Train international brand managers to understand digital experience
• Partner with Product Management to ensure International projects are included in AEO PAT Process and overall corporate roadmaps
• Contribute to the vision for ecommerce capabilities in partnership with SVP Global Digital Commerce, Brand Presidents and Marketing leadership
• Assist with annual strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting related to global ecommerce expansion
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Five+ years of related experience in e-commerce/international landscape
• Travel is required, including the potential for international travel
• Strong ability to influence and take ownership
• Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to speak multiple languages a plus
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
