eBiz Merchandiser - Kid's
Job Summary
The eBiz Merchandiser TOMS Youth & Tiny Footwear is responsible for the online merchandising of our Kids Footwear businesses on TOMS.com. They will drive sales, margin and conversion targets within these categories. This position is accountable for creating the TOMS.com merch plan, and will work with the buying, planning, marketing, content and UX teams to execute the merchandising plan.
Essential Responsibilities
• Maintain an acute awareness & make decisions based on business context, including customer intent, competitive pressures, and internal variables (ie. branding objectives, stock position, pricing, deliveries, site performance, etc.)
• Collaborates with buying team, product teams as well as content team to assure assortment and content is reflected online with integrity and accuracy. Communicates to the buying, product and content teams action plans and items to increase the performance of online metrics.
• Conduct analysis and utilize data to guide ongoing improvements to merchandise presentation and performance.
• Builds effective metric goals and site plans to grow the sales, margin
• Own the weekly cross-functional calendar from an e-Biz perspective. Ensure that all merchandising, marketing and promotion deadlines are met.
• Understand the merchandising and promotional levers and utilize this knowledge to create & execute the site merchandising plan
• Understand the effectiveness of your merchandising real estate and monitor performance of assigned product category on a daily basis.
• Execute different merchandising strategies across user segments, channels and products
• Create and maintain an assortment and visual presentation that maximizes selling opportunities.
• Other tasks dictated by your manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Contributes to and works well within teams
• Excellent attention to detail and very organized
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while shifting priorities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in e-commerce back-end (ATG, Endeca, Google Analytics a plus)
• Interest and love for business, fashion and improving lives
Education & Experience
• 1 year experience with an ecommerce platform
• Bachelor's Degree preferred (fashion or merchandising is a plus)
• Experience with CPG or Fashion
