Senior Account Executive
Senior level sales executive responsible for achieving sales and margin goals for Department Store accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all phases of the accounts – sales, presentations, assortment planning, shipments, financial planning.
• Responsible for increasing sales revenue per budget
• Inventory management by account
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with accounts management
• Interacts with other departments to problem solve
• Works with merchandising to ensure proper assortments fit to specific accounts needs
• Provides weekly business and product updates
• Personalize 6 month Financial strategies by account based on historical volume and trend
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• OTB
• Profitability
• Financial Planning
• Sales analysis e.g. class, year over year, model stocks
• Manage the development of direct reports
• Interface with in store merchandise coordinators
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Please indicate if a degree is required)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with major department stores
• Proven track record of success as a sales professional
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong negotiation skills
• Must possess excellent communication, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage accounts independently
• Advanced knowledge of retail math
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
