Overview
Tiffany and Company is currently seek a Director – Finance, Global Business Transformation in Parsippany, NJ. This Director will lead the global Finance organization’s involvement in the Company’s business transformation efforts. This position, which is part of the Retail Foundation Center of Excellence, will work closely with other functional and IT team leaders in defining future state processes needed to move to a new suite of global foundational applications, including financials/general ledger, inventory management, and order management. This position will also be responsible for leading Finance’s efforts to implement and transition to new or revised processes and incorporating appropriate application security and support into Company’s ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
The Director – Finance, Global Business Transformation is responsible for leading all finance-related aspects of the Retail Foundation (RF) initiative, including strategy formulation, project team management, process and internal control change management, and system and process implementation. S/He will lead the development and implementation of process enhancements across the organization by identifying opportunities to modify organization structures, leverage system capabilities and/or modify processes to improve the financial and operational management of the company.
Additionally, this Director will coordinate the identification of, planning for the involvement of, and communication with Finance subject matter experts from the global finance organization as needed to support the RF initiative. This role will manage and development of Retail Foundation CoE Finance team members, including the evaluation of staff performance and/or the Performance Management Process ("PMP").
Qualifications
• 10+ years of financial/accounting and/or systems related experience
• BA/BS from an accredited university, preferably with a degree in Accounting or Finance or Information Systems
• Project management education or experience
• Process improvement and/or system implementation experience
• Broad understanding of finance processes
• Strong relationship management skills and orientation towards teamwork
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills (must be effective at asking questions, gathering facts and analyzing information)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Comfort with exercising judgment and making decisions
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• CPA or MBA preferred
• JD Edwards experience a plus
• Microsoft NAV experience a plus
