Power of She
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Senior Producer over digital marketing content and operations, oversees the tracking and optimization of the pipeline with the Director of digital production. This critical role is responsible for identifying and leading the development of processes and systems across the Athleta eCommerce team, to support the growth and scale of the online business. Being a process guru, anticipating unforeseen issues, and a passion for troubleshooting is critical for success in this role. This person should have experience and passion for developing a team, project management and optimizing eCommerce operations. Above all, the Senior Producer should be passionate about delivering and ensuring a seamless and optimal customer experience across all digital touchpoints – desktop, mobile, app, in-store technologies and email.
Essential Duties
• Drives cross-functional projects, ensuring that scope and schedule expectations are clearly defined for digital marketing content.
• Recognizes business and resource best practices by leading regular hindsights and drives process improvements across ecommerce team.
• Responsible for resource planning and capacity management with Director for all digital projects pertaining to marketing content. Partners with Director to determine project management and capacity tools to utilize across ECOM organization.
• Informs cross-functional partners on technical feasibility of projects and potential impact to site; provides alternative solutions to help mitigate risk while still solving for the desired customer experience.
• Partners with Director and central teams (PDM/IT/UX) to source and engage with 3rd party vendors to bring innovation to site, email and app experiences.
• Acts as a voice & representative for Athleta with Product Management, CST and GapTech in defining cross-functional requirements for future website/tool enhancements, providing information when process changes are impacted or needed.
• Partners with Director and Sr. Producer (over platforms & testing) to implement and operationalize a personalization strategy across all vehicles.
• Creates and maintains strong collaborate relationships with members of Production, Marketing, Copy, Design, Web Content Developers, Call Center, PDM/IT and Merchandising to successfully manage content delivery and operations.
• Partner with Director to develop and grow a best in class digital production team.
Pipeline Responsibilities
• Maintains and evolves the digital seasonal pipeline over site, email and promotions, with the Director.
• Oversees and supports the day to day intake and production of seasonal site content, promotions and email campaigns through direct reports.
• Responsible for overseeing the end to end digital experience quality and accuracy across all customer touchpoints (site, app, and email).
• Regularly assesses the seasonal pipeline and iterates improvements each season. Builds cross-functional alignment in successfully launching new ways of working and progressive operational improvements for the organization.
• Works with photo and merchandising teams to document a holistic digital photo planning pipeline capturing seasonal timelines and deliverables for product and marketing photography shoots.
Ecommerce Operations:
• Leads training across production to build operational bench strength. Ensures all direct reports are SMEs (subject matter experts) in all tools and can support cross-functional partners.
• Documents trainings for tools and develops a production library.
• Acts as key contact for escalation in troubleshooting site and tool issues while ensuring the cross-functional ECOM organization is informed and regularly updated.
• Works with team to maintain most efficient and effective processes and communication methods to manage projects and inform cross-functional partners of operational issues and changes.
• Develops strong relationships with GapTech, SLM, CST and PDM to stay informed of operational updates but also gain immediate support with issues arise.
Leadership:
• Partners with Director to document and roll out roles & responsibilities across functions.
• Partners with Director to regularly socialize the role of digital production across the organization.
• Responsible for direct management of site and email producers on the team. Manages career planning, training and advancement for each individual directly and indirectly reporting to this role (2 direct reports and 3 indirect reports).
• Works with Director to implement cross-training across production team.
• Serves as back-up to Director when needed.
Qualifications
• Experience in developing and managing detailed project plans for web projects including cross functional and cross-organizational projects.
• Exemplary ability to quickly analyze project requests and to determine technical feasibility, required activities, and the appropriate resources required.
• Strong working knowledge of digital production and release processes, including direct experience with website tools and technology.
• Highly process-oriented with superior skills in defining operational processes.
• Ability to influence and coordinate activities among cross-functional, cross-branded teams.
• Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in people management and development; demonstrate experience in managing managers.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of production experience
• 2-3 years of consumer based online experience, preferably retail
• 2-3 years of leadership experience
