Power of She
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Digital Producer whose focus is on website and platform enhancements for Athleta.com, partners cross-functionally in the development of these projects for a successful delivery, analysis and long term implementation. The Producer must be able to independently drive cross-functional teams to execute tasks and deliverables on time, ensuring that scope and schedule expectations are clearly defined. They must be able to confidently drive projects as well as manage through operational issues. Works with Senior Producer and cross-functional teams to evolve or create processes to improve or streamline workload. Advises on evaluation of site and tool issues, partners with technical teams for resolution and escalates to management when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Drives communication of tasks and milestones related to AB testing and platform enhancements to cross-functional owners within the brand. Responds quickly to change in scope or schedule, providing guidance to functional areas on both technical impacts and timelines. Demonstrates perspective & ability to foresee issues.
● Build relationships with the central teams (CST, PDM, GapTech, UX) to advocate & drive for new functionality/tests to be performed on Athleta.com.
● Supports Senior Producer in reporting monthly test summaries, results and analysis.
● Assesses resources and capacity when making decisions on feasibility, support, risk etc.
● Ensures project is launched on time and meets initial requirements. Keeps management and cross-functional partners notified of progress and/or deviation from project schedule.
● Coordinate project activities from various business partners including Product Management, Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Store Ops, Inventory Management, Web Developers, IT, and 3rd party vendors.
● Understand business goals and requirements for all website projects. Create detailed implementation schedules for each project and validate/communicate out with needed project resources.
● Drive review and final sign-off by assisting in leading key meetings owned by Production, recording feedback and action items and communicating recap to owners for follow-up and completion.
Product Support and Quality Assurance:
● Ensures that all projects delivered or launched have been QA’d according to specs and meets expectations.
● Works with the Senior Producer to support cross-functional teams within Athleta.com when website and tool issues occur. When needed, works with SLM and other GapTech partners to facilitate resolution and communicate updates to brand teams.
● Serves as brand Project Manager to deploy website and tool enhancements and/or bug fixes. Works with Product Management to define business requirements as well as develop and execute effective training. Where needed, must be able to develop or evolve current processes to efficiently rollout features to users.
● Acts as consultant for projects driven by but not limited to: Marketing, Merchandising or Creative.
● Bridges the gap between the business-facing functions, and the technical functions (web development, product management, IT, and vendors) for special project roll out.
● Works closely with team in tracking and troubleshooting defects found; clearly communicates issues and the potential root cause; escalates issues and recommendations with an appropriate level of urgency.
● Performs the final assessment and approval of site content prior to publishing.
Managing & Operating Practices:
● Continually assesses cross-functional business processes for effectiveness and improvement. Works with management to drive change across partnering teams when necessary.
● Facilitates and leads the development and execution of special projects, processes, and training.
Leadership & Employees:
● Leads initiatives to ensure all projects are completed on time, and accurately.
● Serves as back-up to Senior Producer when needed for staffing or leading cross-functional meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
● Ability to influence and coordinate activities among cross-functional, cross-branded teams. Act as a liaison between business and technical resources.
● Highly process-oriented with superior skills in defining operational processes.
● Working knowledge of web production and release processes, including direct experience with website tools and technologies.
● Superior Project Management skills.
● Proven track record of being able to work cross functionally and gain buy in from multiple business partners across all levels of the organization.
● Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organization.
● Self-motivated and driven. Ability to work well independently and within a group setting.
Minimum experience:
● 2-3 years of detailed task planning and execution experience
● 2-3 years of online production or project management experience
● 1-2 years of supervisor/management experience
