Director, Global Marketing, Tory Burch
Description
Leads development, directs and implements all marketing strategies and initiatives for all Tory Burch products in coordination with internal and external departments to further develop Tory Burch brand performance (sales, profitability, image and competitive position in all markets).
Responsibilities:
•Leads development and implements innovative and long range global marketing strategies for all Tory Burch new launches including new products and promotional programs (for International, Domestic, Travel Retail), from inception through completion.
•Spearheads brainstorming design and development of all approved Tory Burch initiatives, in conjunction with support and partner groups, of all aspects of sampling, collateral, advertising, seasonal and promotional programs, copy and ensure timely launches of marketing initiatives within budget and COG’s targets.
•Conducts bi-monthly meetings with Product Development, Packaging, Design, NLM and N/A Marketing teams to drive programs through NPL process and ensure timetables and cost objectives are met.
•Performs SKU and portfolio analysis.
•Responsible for all marketing estimates and managing overall cost of goods for all programs.
•Collect and analyze sell thru trends, category shifts, COG changes, etc and recommend shifts in programs as needed.
•Manages day to day communication with key executives at Tory Burch (fashion) to secure proper creative approvals and timely execution of all programs.
•Maintains flow of communication with International and Domestic affiliates with regards to marketing calendars, revisions in programs, costing guidelines and brand issues.
•Develops promotional and launch bulletins for global marketing website as the primary communication vehicle for all international markets. Maintains ongoing business information on marketing website.
•Prepares Regional Roundtable presentations and present all programs to worldwide affiliates at annual meetings as well as retail partners as needed.
•Works closely with the rest of the marketing team and always maintain a team building attitude.
•Manage, coach and develop Assistant Marketing Manager
Qualifications
•Experience in Global Marketing position (8 + years with BS degree) in Beauty and/or Fragrance Marketing.
•Experience in Color Cosmetic Marketing/Development a plus.
•Ability to effectively develop, communicate and gain support for execution plans with a wide range of stakeholders.
•Broad understanding of strategic business objectives.
•Excellent understanding of project management.
•Able to motivate and develop individual team members and overall team performance.
•Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
•Strong power point, Word and Excel skills
