Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Senior Director, Digital Strategy & Innovation
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Senior Director, Digital Strategy & Innovation is focused on Strategy, Innovation, and Analytics and responsible to reinforce GUESS' efforts of exploring new business opportunities and using analytics to drive sales growth, increase customer loyalty and improve the customer experience. The Senior Director, Digital Strategy & Innovation will help identify, analyze, evaluate, and champion digital initiatives that will deliver significant growth opportunities for GUESS stores and E-Commerce. This role independently leads a team of digital developers and designers to drive innovation and develop a strategic vision and roadmap for digital and store initiatives. The Senior Director is responsible for continuously surveying the market for newest technologies and trends, driving the incubation of ideas, determining technologies to implement, evangelizing solutions, creating proof of concepts, piloting and establishing solutions towards production. This person is responsible for communicating to executive management in order to influence decisions about new projects/initiatives and will have significant exposure to business leaders across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Identify and ensure implementation of emerging digital strategies, including growth and development of new digital opportunities and applications.
Work with senior executives across functions and channels to develop GUESS multi-year roadmap for areas such as Digital and Stores.
Provide thought leadership and ongoing education to relevant stakeholders about these promising opportunities to allow for the creation of competitive gaps that have short as well as long-term business impact.
Provides oversight for technology project lifecycle with internal and external stakeholders across levels without direct reporting line for successful design and execution.
Partner with analytics teams to design compelling analyses and build business cases to inform strategic tradeoffs and decisions.
Deliver high-impact presentations for senior-level executive audiences to influence action on strategic recommendations.
Translate strategy into specific business initiatives and develop tools to measure and evaluate them.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 6-8 Years
