Overview
The Manager of Learning Design and Technologies is responsible for creating nimble, relevant, and immediately applicable training for Tiffany’s diverse learning audiences. Current instructional design theories and the application of educational technologies will guide updates to core leadership programs to ensure learning is uniquely suited to retail, corporate, and manufacturing environments, and the design of new programs will take advantage of the best research and learning tools available.
Responsibilities
• Modularize, edit, and update core leadership programs on an ongoing basis for immediate applicability to learner’s day-to-day jobs. Innovate methods for nimble deployment to varied audiences in retail, corporate, and manufacturing, working with subject matter experts to determine target audience’s training needs, modifying content and delivery methods to achieve relevance with local audiences and ideal adoption targets
• Create new Global Leadership programs with clear instructional goals and learning activities. Apply available learning technologies (in-person or electronic simulations, role plays, games, etc.) to enhance retention and transfer
• Visualize and create instructional graphics to optimize ease and speed of learner comprehension
• Develop assessment criteria and instruments focused on learner’s ability to apply and use content in their day-to-day jobs
Qualifications
• Proven working experience in instructional design and instructional technologies
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills
• Proven ability to design innovative approaches to learning experiences
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
Preferred:
• Visual design skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
• Experience with management/leadership development program design
