Description
Supports Vice President of Global Product Marketing in the successful creation and implementation of all marketing strategies and initiatives for TFB Fragrance category. Manages all new launches, collateral, sampling programs and, Year-Round Gifting. Conducts competitive category reviews, pricing and COG analyses. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive programs to completion.
•Drives, manages and is accountable for all facets of fragrance product launch, support, promotion and day-to-day business such as price, product, discontinuations, COGs, Innovation Portal, Market and NPD/SAP business analysis, product lineup by region and distribution type.
•Helps develop, lead and execute brand’s year round gifting business objectives and plan; including monitoring TFB fragrance and Year Round Gifting product line-up vs. competition to identify product needs, gaps and opportunities.
•Remains knowledgeable of new up and coming trends and consumer tastes in order to determine how they can apply to Tom Ford fragrance.
•Participates in innovation brainstorms with Product Development and supports VP with Innovation and Franchise Strategy.
•Works with all necessary support groups including GBSC, Product Development, Cost Accounting, GSR, Creative, Design, Packaging, Consumer Marketing, PR & Education to develop product positioning, packaging, cost objectives and pricing recommendations; and drive project forward and to completion.
•Presents concepts to management and markets for feedback.
•Spearheads project briefing to copywriter and forecasting teams.
•Prepares and maintains cost of goods. Liaises with Cost Accounting to accurately project and maintain COGs from target costs to final costs.
•Maintains pricing analysis to keep in line with the Brands global corridors, COGs % targets and product index for new and existing products.
•Spearheads and is accountable for all aspects of PPD meetings, such as creation and issuance of agenda, meeting recap and follow-ups.
•Prepares and reviews necessary paperwork including Concept Briefs, Program Briefs, CPMS, COGs, ABC list, Product Categorization, annual Budget Guidelines.
•Responsible for preparing, timely issuance and maintenance of all Forecast Offering and Bulletins to be posted on GMW.
•Liaises with GBSC and Creative ops to track and approve all packaging and collateral artwork for assigned programs.
•Manages daily requests from markets and support groups.
•Manages Tooling Budget for brand overall (Fragrance + Cosmetics).
•Assists in preparation of Regional Roundtables, Global conferences.
•Manages a direct report
Qualifications
•Position requires 8+ years of global marketing experience.
•Demonstrates strategic thinking, well-organized, flexible, independent self-starter, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task and handle a broad range of projects while possessing an entrepreneurial spirit.
•Must have excellent communication, analytical and computer skills.
•Must be proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint
