POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing specific wholesale account marketing plans based on corporate and seasonal initiatives. The Account Marketing Manager reports into the Director, Wholesale Marketing and will work closely with Sales and Merchandise teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee key account relationships for top customers within the assigned channel. Partner with Sales, Merchandising and Visual to bring holistic approach to account growth and success.
• Develop, present and execute integrated marketing programs for Key Accounts by assigned channel. Understanding the seasonal and long-term opportunities by account and develop multi -year marketing strategy to help foster growth. Establish and report on ROI metrics by campaign.
• As part of the Go-to-Market process, work with Sales and Cross Functional marketing teams to help create consumer promotional concepts that build brand equity and drive seasonal initiative stories at all consumer touch points. This includes, but not limited to advertising, sports marketing, in-store, PR and events.
• Partners with Visual Marketing to ensure that all Key Account Brand Experience needs are met by developing cohesive, complementary and comprehensive Marketing and Brand Experience programs.
• Work with Sales and Agency Marketing Reps to promote Account Marketing programs and to ensure that accounts execute programs appropriately and effectively.
• Oversee all creative materials and programs from key accounts to ensure all are within brand guidelines and standards.
• Manage Co-op and Marketing Development funds. Work closely with Co-op Agency to ensure that funds are properly allocated and used by accounts. Establish and regulate appropriate guidelines and standards to streamline Co-op process and ensure that funds are maximized.
• Create, manage, and track all applicable budgets to ensure on or under budget performance and all applicable project timelines to ensure on time, high quality deliverables.
• Maintain current knowledge of outdoor industry marketing activities to create closer relationships with key wholesale and establish successful Account Marketing programs.
• Attend Sales Meetings, Trade Shows, Account meetings and other events as necessary.
SKILLS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Years of 5+ years of related profession experience including visual merchandising experience, preferably wholesale.
• Computer/Software Applications: Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator or InDesign, and Photoshop necessary; experience with AutoCAD a plus.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline oriented environments.
• Proven track record of driving sales through the execution of successful marketing plans.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, excellent organizational skills, and an outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong writing and editing skills are necessary
• Some travel.
