As a member of the North America Region Corporate Communications team, the Corporate Communications Manager - Content Strategist/Creator – North America plays a critical role in the management of communications and platforms that support the Company’s enterprise brand and regional strategy. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, Internal – North America, this role manages the day-to-day development and execution of innovative digital communications and content strategies, including hands on management of corporate webcasts, two-way employee dialogue tools, and content creation across videos, presentations, and social/digital platforms. This role serves as the daily writer, in-house reporter, editor and content creator/curator for NA “newsroom” and platforms including the regional intranet, social media, newsletters, videos and other communications. This role also develops and implements content strategies that shape a culture where two-way internal communication is seen as fundamental and integral to the success of the organization and its staff. The Manager is a superb writer and digital content strategist/creator with a pulse on current technology and digital/social media best practices that drive innovative, modern corporate communications; also has an eye for the aesthetics of beautiful content creation/curation.
• Create dynamic, engaging content and campaigns for all NA internal communications channels including web, print, video, email and Instagram.
• Operate as the in-house reporter for NA, producing multiple stories, videos, and content every week
• Primary content manager/curator for the North America regional intranet and community manager for social platforms and other two-way/multi-way dialogue tools to drive employee engagement. Responsible for posting all news and content on platforms
• Develop and distribute regional newsletters/news flash updates as determined by the internal communications strategy
• Manage the editorial calendar for all digital platforms
• Support coordination of employee engagement events, townhalls, webcasts, etc.
• Actively manage multiple employee engagement campaigns a year from creative concept, to content creation, to production and follow up reporting
• Work with the NA Corporate Communications team to develop communication plans and programs that meet business needs and drive stakeholder understanding of corporate/regional strategy, objectives and goals and highlight our enterprise brand equity pillars
• Coordinate various projects, working closely with business leadership and project teams to advance communication priorities and develop effective integrated communication plans
• Track measurements to ensure effectiveness of all communications and appropriate ROI
• Help leverage digital technology/communications as needed for issues/crises management
• Resident regional expert on digital and social media communications best practices, tools and platform for corporate/enterprise communications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (English, Communications, Marketing, Visual Design or Journalism preferred)
• 5+ years experience in internal and corporate communications
• Social/Digital expert with a passion for knowledge of the latest platforms, tools, best practices and demonstrated ability to drive innovative, engaging content that meets business needs
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong experience using digital communications in corporate environments, including content creation/curation and site management
• Keen eye for detail and the aesthetics of beautiful content creation/curation
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver programs and tactics in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Self starter - driven and incredibly detail-oriented; strong client focus, excellent team player, exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Able to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity, integrity and good judgment
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Sharepoint CMS, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier)
