About the Role
As the Fashion & Trend Manager, you will keep a laser focus on the market trends, fashion, and brands and relate it back to our clients' needs and overall Stitch Fix brand. You will be responsible for trend forecasting, product creation, Stylist communication and education on trends and brands, and the creative direction and execution of marketing initiatives to ensure the merchandising vision is brought to life. You will lead a cross-functional team on the ideation and execution of product, online content, campaigns and more! You are excited to create and maintain a consistent look and feel across the brand to ensure a seamless client experience through the product.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
• Spearhead the evolution of our product offering through seasonal trend forecasting and present key learnings back to merchandising partners
• Serve as the trend expert for the merchandising team and champion future product investment opportunities
• Serve as the Buying liaison with the Styling team and provide education and direction on new product, trends, and brands
• Collaborate with the Buying and Product Development teams on product creation from line planning to final delivery
• Direct seasonal fashion key item design and merchandising initiatives to Exclusive Brands team
• Source new vendors, fabrics, patterns and silhouettes and keep an up-to-the-minute pulse on the competitive market
• Attend seasonal trade shows with the Buying team to evaluate market trends and exclusive brand partnership opportunities
• Develop a fully operational Fashion & Trend office to streamline forecast timelines and trend deliverables
• Work collaboratively with the Buying and Product Development teams to ensure cohesiveness of total product trends
• Create compelling media campaigns with trend-right product offerings and aspirational imagery
• Conceptualize product stories at a high level and partner with Marketing and Styling to communicate to our client and internal styling community
• Attend editorial walk-throughs and collaborate with Visual Styling on the selection and styling of featured product
• Create and direct best practices for our on-figure and flat styling product imagery

• You have a degree in a merchandising or fashion related field with 6+ years of fashion industry experience and an emphasis in merchandising, design, and product development
• You possess a deep knowledge of and passion for fashion and market trends within the apparel industry
• You have a highly skilled product and visual styling aesthetic
• You are proficient in MS Office, Gmail and Google Drive
• You have an independent and scrappy nature and are able to work with little direction
• You thrive in a feedback driven environment
• You are able to gracefully handle change and love working in a fast-paced environment
