Overview
Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Sales Audit Analyst out of our Parsippany, NJ location. The Sales Audit Analyst is responsible for the analysis and reporting of activities that support the Company’s Sales Audit process in the U.S. and Canada. They will recommend procedural and systematic enhancements to improve financial and operational effectiveness. This individual must exhibit excellent analytical and problem solving skills, and have effective written and oral communication skills. The position will be responsible for the testing and implementation of initiatives which impact Sales History and JD Edwards across business channels. They will independently develop new and expand existing compliance activities / data trend analytics programs as well as monitor activities performed by Sales Audit staff.
Responsibilities
The Sales Audit Analyst will be responsible for the on-going analysis of Sales Audit activities, controls, and system functionality in the U.S. and Canada. S/he will propose changes to the Company’s Sales Audit process and recommend procedural / systematic enhancements to improve financial and operational effectiveness. The role will also monitor sales activity across business channels for compliance with internal / external policies, rules and regulations, be responsible for the development of new and existing Sales Audit compliance activities and programs, and analyze results from data trend / analytics programs and communicate results to key business partners. The Analyst will also perform on-site visits to train Retail Stores on Sales Audit related activities.
This role will actively participate in all efforts related to the testing of new initiatives and system upgrades impacting Sales History and JD Edwards across all business channels, facilitate the resolution of issues across multiple areas and recommend solutions to ensure their effectiveness. The Analyst will also participate in special projects as requested, assume supervisory responsibilities including monitoring staff performance to ensure financial deadlines and departmental objectives are achieved, and assist with staff training, development, and preparation of performance appraisals, review and post journal entries.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance Discipline
• Minimum of 3 to 5 Years of Experience in an Analytical Role
• Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Especially Excel
• Must have Strong Interpersonal Skills with Excellent Verbal/Written Communications
• Must be a Self-Starter and Analytical Thinker
• Ability to Multi-Task Under Tight Deadlines
• Flexible Work Schedule
• Ability to Travel
• Sales Audit / Finance / Internal Audit/ Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) Experience preferred
• Previous JD Edwards 8.12 Experience preferred
• Knowledge of Audit Command Language (ACL), Business Objects or Other Data Analytics Tools preferred
