We’re looking for an Associate Technical Designerwith a keen eye for fit, construction, and quality to support our Tops and Outerwear category -- and it could be you! This person will report to our Technical Design Manager and will collaborate with a Senior Technical Designer while working cross-functionally with our Development, Buying, and Production teams to help make utterly unique styles inspired by our community. The perfect person for this opportunity is confident leading fittings, assessing fit corrections, creating tech packs and issuing fit comments to domestic and offshore vendors.

Responsibilities:
• Check in samples received from vendors and own all measuring for fittings.
• Prep for and attend daily fittings, taking detailed notes and pictures.
• Fit assigned styles while working closely with Sr Technical Designer on fit outcome.
• Analyze garments to determine compliance of spec, construction, and fit intent.
• Create and carry out new processes to improve product workflow.
• Articulate clear communication to vendors on the status and direction of each style.
• Work collaboratively with Sr Technical Designer on import and domestic proto through production samples.
Requirements:
• 2-4 years in technical design.
• Degree in Fashion Design with an emphasis on Technical Design.
• Knock-our-socks-off knowledge of Illustrator and Excel.
• Knows the ropes of measuring techniques.
• Exceptional organizational skills and thrives in a fast paced environment.
• Able to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Self-starter personality; driven by deadlines with a high sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of sewing and fitting.
• Familiar with communicating fit comments both written and oral to import and domestic vendors.
Nice to Haves:
• Knowledge of pattern making.
• Knowledge of fabric.

• Systems experience: Blue Cherry, Oracle, Excel, Illustrator, Google Docs.
