Reporting to the President of Donna Karan Dresses and Suits, the Sales Coordinator, Dresses and Suits is responsible for assisting the sales team for the Donna Karan Dresses and Suits product categories.
Responsibilities
Success Profile:
• Maintain, analyze and report weekly selling to identify key items and reorder opportunities
• Engage in weekly business touch bases with the assistant buyers to discuss current trends, report sales, and look for merchandise opportunity
• Prepare seasonal hindsight recaps to show the top volume driving styles and present to senior teams
• Assist AE with merchandise assortments, pricing strategies, and communicating order changes
• Coordinate samples to be sent to the studio and deliver ecommerce images to accounts in a timely manner
• Work closely with assistant buyers to arrange styles to be featured in promotional advertisements
• Work in Open-To-Buy to actualize month end sales, markdowns, and receipts
• Manage keeping on order up to date for each delivery across all accounts
• Review sales and stock by door weekly to pinpoint door opportunities
• Track sample requests for special events and advertising: maintain sample closet, prepare shipments, and coordinate with Marketing/PR as needed
• Assist AE in scheduling market appointments
• Assist with other special projects as needed
• Collaborate with customer service associate and logistics department to ensure consistent communication with clients on order processing and shipping needs are being met
• Maintain seasonal order confirmations and ensure weekly shipping updates are delivered in a timely manner
Qualifications
Professional Knowledge & Experience
• Exceptional organizational & analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint)
• 1-2 years of proven sales experience
Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or Fashion Merchandising
