L&D Manager (Design and Content)
Position:Full-Time

GENERAL FUNCTION The L&D Manager works closely with members of the Business Training team to project lead and design learning modules. The L&D Manager also manages the modification of global tools and content to meet the local market needs. The L&D Manager is the gate keeper, editor, modifier, and creator of content for the local market. The L&D Manager manages relationships between business partners and vendors to ensure deadlines and expectations are achieved.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Designs and implements Training/Product Knowledge across all businesses.
• Develops engaging learning modules including e-learnings, interactive PDFs and videos.
• Assists team members with graphics, images, and other visual elements according to the objectives of the project.
• Localization of digital content from global partners for North America Associates.
• Explores and evaluates new tools and programs to combine all training and digital assets into one universal platform.
• Familiarity with the Learning Management System (LMS) catalogue including loading courses, assigning courses and reporting.
• Responsible for content management across all businesses.
• Responsible for being the Copywriter and editor for training content localization.
• Communicates with team and cross-functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure content congruence among all curriculum tracks and alignment.
• Manages project deadlines, deliverables, and external resources.
• Demonstrates initiative in gathering feedback and data from partners, improving learning and development content and constantly moving learning content to the next level.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Learning, Training, or Retail Leadership
• 5+ years of instructional design experience
• Expert in learning content tools: Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient knowledge of Learning Management Systems
• Proficient computer skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Go Animate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of training industry best practices
• Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Working knowledge of managing and influencing organizational change
• Basic Analytical skills
• Retail selling experience
• Optical knowledge
