The Inventory Planning Assistant - Retail supports the Retail Inventory Planner with all responsibilities relating to store allocations for Studio and Outlet Stores. In addition, this position will partner with the Retail Operations Manager to manage the logistics of the retail stores product transportation. This position has to interface with many areas, so it is imperative they have good communication skills and excellent follow through.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all internal levels as well as external suppliers
Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning:
• Create weekly replenishment orders based on existing minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Communicate with vendors regarding shipping, payment, and vendor information updates
• Monitor shipping reports to make sure replenishment orders or purchase orders are on time. Alert Planner to any potential issues
• Support Retail Team with special projects involving new store openings
• Support Planner or Planning Team with additional projects and tasks as needed
Transportation:
• Manage issues relating to Transportation of product to all stores
• Escalate issues as needed to appropriate partners within the transportation department
• Monitor the overages and shortages within each location and share with appropriate partners
• Assemble and distribute weekly and monthly reporting on Transportation metrics
• This is a not an all inclusive list and priorities and can change as business dictates.
Requirements:
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Retail/inventory control or Transportation experience a plus
• 2 - 3yrs. relevant work experience
