Crocs is seeking a Senior Manager of Global Marketing. This role will be a key position on the Global Marketing team, responsible for the development and oversight of integrated marketing programs, global scalability of said programs, and leadership oversight of sales channel marketing strategies to support direct-to-consumer and wholesale channel owners globally.
Working in partnership with marketing communications and sales channel owners, the Senior Manager will be responsible for developing, documenting and project managing integrated marketing strategies to support key campaign and sub-campaign initiatives throughout the calendar year. From insights gathering and briefing, to building globally executable campaign playbooks, the Senior Manager will lead campaign from concepting to execution and reporting, all with the goal of increasing brand relevancy and esteem and supporting awareness and sell-through of key products. He or she will have primary oversight of the development and management of channel marketing strategies for sales channels (DTC and wholesale/distributor), including the creation of pre-season marketing strategy development and alignment, development of planning tools and templates, GTM execution, seasonal post-mortem and monthly insights, performance and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Effective development and management of globally scalable marketing strategies that will make a material impact on brand perception and product desirability, including:
◦ Sales channel support throughout the commercialization process
◦ Integrated marketing programs to drive brand and product consideration and revenue
◦ Supporting regional marketing hubs for local adaptation and execution of global strategy
• Acts as key strategic partner for cross functional teams including product, merchandising, and sales channels (eCommerce, Retail, Wholesale/Distributor). Fosters collaborative and results-driven communication across all groups and drives alignment and best practices sharing while seeking inputs that will maximize program efficacy
• Leads team of direct report(s), ensures productive and positive working environment
• Drives alignment with regional partners through weekly calls and daily email support, optimizes global standardization with relevant local adaptation/nuance
QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent project management oversight abilities; can drive forward projects and initiatives in ambiguous and changing environments
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills for direct reports, also possesses strong ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional partners through influence
• Understands dynamic and global business organizations; can navigate across sales channels and communications platforms to provide strategic recommendations and action plans that will drive brand awareness and esteem across multiple consumer touch points
• Experienced in drafting strategic marketing briefs for both integrated and channel-specific programs
• BS or BA in communications, public relations, business marketing or related field.MBA or other advanced degree highly desired
• Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing management experience, preferably with an international brand that operates in multiple channels. Footwear industry experience is a strong plus
• Strong communication abilities, written and verbal
• Ability to lead global teams in development and execution of global strategies
• Demonstrated experience building and managing teams
• Advanced analytical skills, ability to translate complex data, trends and insights into actionable strategy
• Ability to develop, manage and improve upon processes
• Demonstrates consumer centricity and experience as well as passion for brand building
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
