Description
Partner with Manager to analyze the business, competition, trends and to develop strategies and well defined Marketing programs for brands within area of responsibility to pre-empt competition, gain market share, and build long term brand equity. Initiate and execute programs to support Fragrance Marketing plan.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Brand Development (under his/her responsibility)
-Responsible for all product programs involving brands under his/her responsibility.
-Propose and execute well thought out concepts and marketing programs responsibility. Closely manage COGS and development timeline working closely with all the support departments to ensure that targets are met.
-Prepare all International forecast offerings, marketing bulletins and other marketing websites postings for programs under his/her responsibility. Monitor markets feedback to ensure program viability. Track all International marketing bulletins / forecast offerings.
-Propose and monitor development of all support materials to ensure proper execution / implementation of the programs in the various markets.
-Work closely with Manager on preparing all documents used to brief development and creative groups.
-Work closely with cross functional partners such as, Product Development, Package Design, Global Business Supply Chain, Merchandising, Education, Advertising, Consumer Engagement, Global Market Development to develop and maximize cohesive, complete marketing programs.
-Ensures key timetable dates are met in coordination with GBSC. Participates in GPPD meetings.
-Update information in Pricing systems.
-Plays an active role in preparing presentation and backup material for various brand presentations and meetings.
-Internet/New Media and Education liaison for fragrance brands.
Qualifications
-Undergraduate College degree.
-2 + years marketing or promotions ideally within the fragrance or cosmetic industry – knowledge of core marketing principles.
-Must have a good balance of creative and quantitative skills.
-Highly organized, attention to detail is critical
-Candidate must be a team player who is successfully able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Must be able to work independently and be flexible to handle changing priorities. Must be able to multi-task, set priorities and work well under pressure.
-Proficiency utilizing all Microsoft applications including: Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
