Signature by Levi Strauss & Co and Denizen from Levi's are delivering strong results and expanding quickly both in the US and internationally. We are looking for a leader on our team to drive innovation, create strong partnerships and create consumer right product for our men's and boys categories.
Responsible for:
• Two Brands (Signature by Levi Strauss & Co and Denizen from Levi's)
• Build 18-24 month strategy for Men’s and Boys’ lines in partnership with Sr. Director
• Leads the development with Design and product Development of consumer-focused product assortment that is commercially viable and delivers to a consistent global brands look and feel
• Leads and approves line architecture that meets consumer and customer needs, affiliate briefs and financial targets.
• Understands competitor market and opportunities to grow. Accountable for identifying opportunities for growth
• Leads the strategic execution for the brands with Sales and Planning. Interfacing with 7 US Sales teams and 3 International affiliates to sell in the line
• Builds, develops and retains best-in-class Merchant talent
• Leads through ambiguity
• Builds and models collaborative, effective cross-functional relationships
• Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree (5+ years combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
Years and Type of Experience Required: Minimum 8 years merchandising experience working at an apparel brand and minimum 4 years experience as a people manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Proficiency with Outlook and Word, high proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical thinking to interpret data and consumer insight
• Effective ability to influence and engage cross functional partners
• Forward thinking, solution oriented
