Manager, Global Product Marketing – Bumble and Bumble
Position Summary: Helps to develop, manage and implement all product marketing strategies and initiatives in coordination with internal and external departments, to further develop Brand's performance (sales, profitability, image and competitive position in local and overseas markets). Timeline / project management, budget management and P&L / COGS responsibility for projects under responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Programs
•Conception, development and implementation of innovative and trendsetting marketing strategies, promotional programs and product concepts to drive business globally and reinforce brand equity.
•Spearhead development and progress of all approved initiatives through strong partnerships with cross functional teams (such as Creative, Design, Product development, New media, IT, PR, Operations, Education, Sales etc.). Drive development of Creative briefs.
•Ensure timely launches of marketing initiatives within designated budget and COGS targets. Ownership of key programs designated to the Manager.
•Champion projects and present strategy and briefs with confidence in key cross-functional meetings and to senior management.
Business Analysis
•Collect and analyze sell-through trends, category shifts, COG changes, etc. and recommend shifts in programs as needed. Report sell-through trends quarterly to team.
•Perform SKU and portfolio analyses to keep the line productive and within sku limit.
•Responsible for partnering with manager on domestic and international pricing.
•Compile and analyze market intelligence/competitive information and make recommendations when relevant to seize market opportunities. Share information regularly with team. (e.g. pricing, claims, packaging, etc)
Team
•Work very closely with the rest of the marketing team and always maintain a collaborative attitude.
•Train / onboard interns or other new Marketing team members.
Qualifications
•The job requires an individual with an understanding of and a passion for beauty and with a strong sense of style while maintaining a rigorous business and financial discipline.
•Strong sense of urgency, initiative and analytical skills required.
•Ability to work well with people and be a leader in the team.
•Position requires 5+ years of marketing in the Beauty industry gained in one of the industry leading companies.
•Beauty experience ideal, and retail experience a plus.
•Global Marketing experience a plus.
•Strong computer, creative, strategic and analytical skills.
