JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Digital Partnerships will support the Head of Digital Partnerships / Strategy / New Markets in ensuring Levi Strauss & Co is playing a proactive and strategic role in the partnerships landscape. This individual will be responsible for owning the industry perspective, market research, company profiles and outreach work that will underpin development of partnerships with scale and emerging digital players. This individual will need to have an understanding of emerging trends in the consumer technology space and the capacity to engage and interact with business development personnel at large and small technology companies.
The Manager will be our “in-house expert” on digital, owning financial analyses, competitive benchmarking, economic modeling and consumer research to develop our long term digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the development of a long term vision for LS+Co’s technology partnership landscape and strategy
• Understand current and emerging technology, ecommerce and consumer trends
• Develop hypothesis on who and how LS&Co should partner with to maximize long term sales growth – both large and emerging players
• Support in the cultivation of LS&Co strategic partnerships
• Evaluate and prioritize opportunities for partnerships from a strategic, go-to-market and financial perspective; conduct early diligence on potential partners, including business cases and KPI's.
• Inform LS+Co Innovation and Omnichannel roadmaps based on partnership priorities and technology landscape; help create collaboration between LS+Co and partner technology/innovation teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to think strategically, define objectives and develop frameworks to achieve success; capacity to use data to frame and solve problems and logicially “connect the dots”
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills including financial modeling; high proficiency in Excel, experience building financial and sensitivity models, utilizing advanced Excel functions
• Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both written and verbally, to an executive audience; proficiency in Powerpoint and experience crafting executive-level presentations
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external business partners
• Highly motivated self starter with the capacity to work independently and in a team setting
• Passion for consumer and technology trends
