Reporting Relationship:The CAD Textile Designer is a key role within Owned Brands reporting to the VP, Product Development and Design.

Major Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Design Managers to identify artwork and color palettes for
each season.
• Develop production ready print artwork files in repeat with color separation.
• Match color standards to create seasonal digital palettes.
• Create print and pattern fills for Illustrator sketches.
• Name/code all colors, manage color library, order and send color standards
to overseas partners.
• Maintain print library and pitch sheet records.
• Comment on a strike-off for color and print technique.
• Act as colorist, comment on all lab dips and handlooms / strike-offs.
• Maintain and distribute to overseas partners physical artwork, pitch sheets.
• Manage process according to speed calendar.
• Create, consolidate, maintain doll boards for men’s team.
Professional Qualifications:
• Minimum Associate’s Degree, preferably in textile design
• 1-3 years of CAD experience in apparel or accessories
• Ability to design prints and yarns dyed patterns from scratch and print
studio files.
• Excellent knowledge of Nedgraphics
• Understanding of printing methods.
• Graphic design skills and fabric knowledge are a plus
• Knowledge of current Design technology including Adobe Suite and Microsoft
Office
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ideal candidate is highly creative and is able to work in a professional fast
paced environment and deal with shifting priorities.
