Description
The Coordinator, Education supports the M·A·C Vision by contributing to the design of training programs for global M∙A∙C retail employees and the Education team and managing the collection and collation of training data. This role has a focus on training technologies. This position involves collaborating effectively with the Program Development team, field leaders of AT&D, Commercial Training & Development, Training Services and other business functions to ensure alignment and excellence in execution.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
SUPPORT PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR MAC RETAIL EMPLOYEES AND THE AT&D TEAM WORLDWIDE. Contribute to the design of training programs that are aligned with the brand strategy for M∙A∙C retail employees and the Artist Training & Development team worldwide. This includes assisting with training needs analyses, participating in ideation sessions, contributing to the writing of training programs, editing training programs and materials, making required modifications/updates to training programs. The process involves working closely with the Program Development and CT&D teams by sharing ideas and responding to and giving feedback to other members of the group. It also requires providing administrative support to VP, collaborating effectively with other business functions including Field AT&D, CT&D, Training Services, Sales, Commercial Training & Development, Marketing, Product Development & Creative.
EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVES. Manage content for Education technology platforms including the AT&D Global Edit Sharepoint site, the Interactive Video Platform and the LMS. Create training content for Education technology platforms. Contribute to Investigating and supporting the implementation of new training technologies. Conduct ongoing research into learning technologies and social media and propose solutions that support the needs of our Global Education Teams and retail employees.
SUPPORT CONTENT CREATION AND THE EXECUTION OF IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL EDUCATION MEETINGS / PRESENTATIONS. Participate in content-focused task forces, collaborate on the agenda and participate in the design of meeting support materials (PowerPoints, facilitator notes, attendee materials, videos, etc.). Provide on-site logistical support at Education Meetings like Train the Trainer and Trainer Academy.
BUDGET AND TRAINING DATA. Manage personal T&E. Process and track VP’s expenses. Manage the process of collecting, collating, analyzing and maintaining the Education data.
Qualifications
• 1+ years of relevant experience (e.g. writing experience, instructional design experience, technology, etc.).
• Strong writing, editing, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment.
