Overview
Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Sr. Analyst for financial systems and business process improvement in Parsippany, NJ. This position will represent the global finance operations of the Company on assigned business process improvement projects and systems implementations. The individual will be responsible for determining required finance participation in, coordinating finance resources for, and participating in the development of process and system requirements for assigned projects.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for project management, including determining finance participation requirements and coordination with functional business areas, IT, and other project team members, to support the Company's business process and system implementation efforts:
• Ownership of project management responsibilities for the Global Finance portion of initiatives (e.g., creation or maintenance or project plans, maintenance of project status reporting)
• Development and implementation of communications strategies for various stakeholders (finance leadership, finance project team members, IT)
• Ensure appropriate resources (globally) are included and are actively participating as needed
• Coordinate the involvement of SMEs from various parts of the division or business
• Ensure that appropriate testing procedures are in place and are being followed and assist with testing procedures as needed
• Coordinate or provide training as needed and assigned by department management
For assigned projects, the Sr. Analyst will provide finance process and system expertise as needed, including but not limited to: participate in project team meetings as a subject matter expert; lead or assist with the documentation of business processes; lead or assist with business requirements gathering and documentation. S/He will provide transition support for implemented solutions and as needed or assigned by department management. Additionally, this position will participate in and /or lead other special projects, assignments or tasks as directed by department management.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree from an accredited university, preferably with a degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems
• 4-7 years of diversified finance, accounting or systems implementation experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to interact with individuals of varying levels
• Ability and comfort in lead meetings and group discussions
• Customer service and team oriented individual
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with time-sensitive constraints
• Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours
• Travel to New York offices will be required as dictated by project needs
• International travel may be required up to 10%
• Financial systems acumen is ideal
• Project management experience and process improvement experience is preferred
• Microsoft Project and Visio experience is ideal
• MBA and/or CPA Certification is preferred
