The Global SEO Director serves as the SEO lead for Revlon Corp by providing strategic leadership across Revlon brands as well as and brand- specific guidance on how to improve organic visibility locally, regionally and internationally.
This candidate will develop and champion their strategy to different departments, by developing SEO understanding across the company. This person is responsible for providing training, creating POVs and general knowledge sharing across Revlon Corp for the different team. This candidate will be the source of truth for organic search and will help craft recommendations, best practices, and brand-specific guidelines that adhere to modern digital standards as well as ensuring the brand voice is preserved.
An ideal candidate is someone who thrives on data and performance. They will stay abreast of algorithm changes, keep close watch on performance pre and post-site, and work to improve the visibility across Dot Coms and 3rd party retail pages. This person will also stay aware of consumer behavior on and off site to glean knowledge from market research to provide better recommendations.
Organic and Paid Search integration experience is important for this role.
This role may evolve to manage a team of search professionals.
Qualifications
• BA/BS required.
• 9+ years in the development/implementation of search engine optimization strategies
• HTML/CSS working knowledge
• JavaScript working knowledge
• Expertise in analytical tools for search including but not limited to Google, Adobe, Moz
• Proven record of search performance growth
• Basic Paid Search comprehension
Skills & Responsibilities
• Guides the development and execution of innovative SEO strategies and programs
• Collaborates with Social Media, Paid Media, and Technical departments to implement changes
• Strong experience with enterprise and ecommerce management systems
• Is accountable for the quality and success of SEO
• Analyzes program results to create thought leadership
• Advocates for search best practices
• Works directly with other departments for creative and effective fixes for SEO problems
• Collaborates directly with vendors and agencies to improve search visibility
• Provides education opportunities for individuals at Revlon Corp
• Builds relationships with senior executives within key accounts
Must Haves
• Ecommerce SEO experience
• Enterprise CMS experience
• Understanding of International SEO

• Beauty industry experience
• Agency-side experience
• Amazon optimization experience
• Experience managing Paid Search campaigns
