Email Marketing Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Levi Strauss & Company is pursuing a global strategy to become a best-in-class omnichannel retailer. To support this goal, LS&Co is developing its database marketing capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly talented team focused on developing world-class, personalized, email marketing.
This position will support the Levi’s email marketing program, one of the key drivers of Levi.com and Levi’s stores sales, including: email marketing content planning; creative development and production; database growth; and consumer and marketing analytics. This role involves working closely with cross-functional team members as well as external vendors. This position reports to the Assistant Manager, Email Marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execution of personalized marketing efforts to drive traffic, sales, and consumer retention
• Own day-to-day execution of email marketing campaigns; including creative briefing, feedback process, production, audience definition, asset delivery, QA and deployment
• Collaborate with key stakeholders from marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure coordinated consumer experience and drive email performance
• Partner with vendors to ensure timely and accurate campaign deployment
• React to changing business needs by modifying plans and adjusting deliverables efficiently
• Content and strategy planning
• Support development of email campaign calendar to support multichannel (eCommerce, outlet, and retail) business goals
• Monitor competitive landscape to identify industry trends and best practices
• Support in building monthly email forecasting based on trends and content playbook benchmarks
• Email reporting and analysis
• Utilize Responsys + Adobe Analytics reporting tools to create weekly email insights and creative content results
• Maintain and monitor changes in content playbook benchmarks
• Analyze email performance vs. goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and share insights and recommendations across teams
• Modify and share go-forward strategies based on learnings and email best practices
• Email Deployment
• Assist with in house email deployment (Responsys)
Skills & Qualifications:
• BS/BA in a relevant field
• Approach: curious and enthusiastic, with high attention to detail and strong follow through. Must be a self-starter, proactive, and flexible.
• Project management: highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks involving internal and external partners
• Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence all levels of management
• Experience using third party email applications (Responsys) or a desire to learn this tool
• Experience using web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) or a desire to learn this tool
