Job Description
POSITION TITLE: E-Commerce Associate Merchandiser
POSITION PURPOSE:
The E-Commerce Associate Merchandiser oversees the management of site content and functionality of website and assist merchandiser with brand profitability and analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage strategy and planning of monthly email calendar to create profitable emails that are aligned with the brands product and promotional focuses. Manage strategy and optimization of online content, including homepages, landing pages, banners, seasonal refreshes, and taxonomy for desktop and mobile site by analyzing category reports, tracking code reports, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Ensure all final content including product images, emails, homepages, landing pages, and copy are brand appropriate and maximize profitability. Assist merchandiser with overseeing workload of merchandise coordinator to ensure project deadlines are met. Ensure proper functionality and usability of desktop and mobile site through bi-weekly reviews and communicate any issues to the project manager. Ensure promotional pricing is correctly aligned with promotional sheet on a weekly basis.
Assist merchandiser with weekly, monthly and quarterly recaps that analyze the brand's performance compared to the prior year and to planned performance which will be a key component for making future business decisions. Create weekly and monthly best-seller reports and ensure they are displayed prominently and appropriately on site content and product listing pages. Assist merchandiser with monitoring and analyzing KPIs to maximize desktop and mobile profitability. Assist merchandiser with promotional recaps and any additional reporting needs to help inform cross-functional departments of future business strategy. Communicate promotional cadence to internal and external partners to assure all channels are aligned and profitability is maximized.
Communicate to the photo studio team and merchandise coordinators major buying focuses to ensure looks are styled properly and the most important buys are featured. Work with merchandise coordinators to ensure final image selects chosen are brand appropriate and coordinate with emails and site content.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
