Brand Specialist, Calvin Klein Underwear (Los Angeles, CA) – The Underwear Group
The role of Brand Specialist is to provide both merchandising and sales support to assigned doors within a territory while increasing the corporate visibility of PVH brands and product categories.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
• Visit key assigned stores as directed within territory ensuring visit requirements are met based on corporate initiatives.
• Negotiate/secure key floor placement, signage and visual enhancements
• Merchandise all PVH products to ensure optimum presentation on sales floor. Maintain visual account standards.
• Set up national PVH sale events and new fashion deliveries following store directives.
• Fill in/locate stock and merchandise all fixtures as per PVH standards
• Monitor markdowns, POS pricing and returns to vendor.
• Conduct in-store seminars within territory for on-going training and motivation for store personnel.
• Develop positive relationships with store associates within department and also outside of dept.
• Manage territory regarding opportunities, challenges, and suggestions. Communicate information to management in a timely manner.
• Provide photos of new deliveries, sale events, GWP’s, new product launches as well as “before and after” photos on a regular basis.
• Submit SVR in a timely basis, within 48 hours of store service
• Review sales data weekly and monthly to determine door performance.
• Provide monthly schedule and weekly updates to management.
• Assist customers with PVH brands.
• Identify current and future customer needs/emerging trends by establishing rapport with customers to understand market requirements
• Work one mandatory Selling Saturday per month, shifting the work week to Tues-Saturday and not incurring overtime
• Approach shoppers and assist with CK/PVH Brands to maintain and/or gain market share as well build a clientele list
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 1-3 years of retail experience required, management experience preferred.
Education: High School or technical school completion. Some college preferred.
Skills:
• Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and E-mail
• Must be well-groomed.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible to changing environments
• Retail sales and merchandising experience is necessary.
• Must be able to read and comprehend sales reports.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to work well with others to accomplish team goals.
• Possess good organizational skills and must be detail oriented
