Manager, Ecommerce, Global Origins
Description
This role is key in supporting the Origins brand globally. Deep dive analytics will be done on an ongoing basis and leveraged across all countries where Origins has an online presence in order to drive and increase sales and NOP. In continually optimizing the eCommerce experience (mobile and desktop), this person will adhere to best practices in producing content (assets, copy, product images) and developing marketing programs to improve KPIs. Other key responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of consistent branded content and assets that adhere to the Origins brand pillars and ELC Online strategy while meeting the needs of the markets.
In this role, the person will integrate seamlessly with the NA eCommerce team and share process, strategy, tactics and assets with the markets.
The person will also work closely with the Origins brand and Global ELC Online to identify, support and launch sites in new markets while collaborating with Online, International, Global Marketing and Global Creative to develop cohesive creative and online marketing opportunities to meet market specific needs. The person will also launch, develop and support all additional international markets online analytically and strategically while partnering the North America online team to learn & share all programs that are developed in that market and translate those for the markets.
Key Responsibilities
International Market Support
• Key responsibility is to keep brand consistency, manage efficiencies and share best practices across all sites globally, ensuring 100% adherence to brand guidelines with the following:
1. Gathers regional requests for development/site enhancement ideas and liaise with Global Site Experience and Creative teams for approvals and execution. Project manage the Regional/Local requests from start to finish; gather requirements, briefing creative, QA, asset delivery.
2. Join monthly status meetings with regional Online and brand partners – issue recaps and follow up on next steps in a clear and concise manner.
3. Keep internal tracking documents of all business and marketing requests and progress for all markets.
4. With the Global Executive Director, provide recommendations and share best practices with local market Ecommerce teams on new business activities that have been proven/brand approved in North America (e.g. Email marketing programs, marketing/merchandising programs, Ratings and Reviews and other best-in-class North America Online strategies.)
5. Collaborate closely with Regional Online managers to ensure all online local markets regularly update and maintain their sites with new seasonal launch products/collections assets, promotions and marketing programs.
6. With the Global E-Commerce Director, develop strong working partnerships with all Online Regionals and International Online Managers and communicate as necessary to drive businesses and projects.
NA Online Support
• Work closely with the North America E/M-commerce team, to learn key aspects of the website (promotions, product setup, Drupal CMS platform) in order to leverage the knowledge and share and teach the international teams
• Partner to build out the Master Data worksheet for seasonal set up to populate Global sites. Help enter NA data into database & QA according to master timeline.
• QA support for the North America E/M-commerce team (site assets and refreshes, emails, etc.)
• Lead special projects in tandem with NA team and/or Global Director that relate to key Global site enhancements or new initiatives.
• Lead (with Global E-Commerce Director) any CMS template updates/bug fixes on the Global template; cascade and localize these updates and fixes to markets.
• Review key site KPIs and analytics in order to discuss/devise recommendations to improve performance and consumer conversion. Support Global E/M-commerce Director with reporting and analytics.
• Help support the NA Retailer.com business (QA, asset delivery/review, sample tracking/delivery)
Seasonal Launch Support
• Gather and understand all Regional/Market site asset requirements in advance of each season to then translate into comprehensive Creative briefs.
• Manage creation of Creative briefs for Global seasonal launch assets to ensure all Regional specific requirements are captured, but also online marketing objectives are achieved.
• Partner closely with Creative to ensure all seasonal launch and Regional specific deliverables are on-brand and on schedule. Manage multiple requests, deadlines and deliverables while anticipating potential issues and troubleshoot where necessary. Work closely with the North America E/M-commerce team to streamline asset requirements and timelines.
• Maintain and track all seasonal launch assets delivered, and manage expectations of Markets during the entire process.
Global Redesign Rollout Support
• Work closely with the Global Rollout Production teams, and provide support to local markets as the brand continues to rollout the new Site Redesign.
• Maintain the Rollout Kit to ensure all assets and materials are up to date for every site launch.
• Be knowledgeable of the new site platform and the site maintenance process end to end to advise International counterparts on Site Refresh process, where required.
Qualifications
• Highly analytical, detail oriented, organized and able to excel in a fast paced environment
• In-depth understanding of digital landscape
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to work effectively with outside vendors and international market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to distill information in a clear and concise manner to all markets
• Strong project management skills, ability to self-manage and handle multiple requests, deadlines, deliverables and projects while anticipating potential issues and troubleshoot where necessary.
• Position requires 2+ years relevant work experience – international and/or online marketing a plus
• Early morning/evening work hours due to time zones
• Exposure to ecommerce a plus
• Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred
