Purpose
Acts as a “Strategic Business Partner” and “Coach” to the organization in all relevant HR management issues and lead an HR team to provide the best HR strategies and services to attract, develop, motivate and retain the best talent.
Key Responsibilities
• Takes active part in the design of the HR Strategy and manages the execution and control of the plan for the respective support areas in coordination with global partners where applicable. Ensures harmonized implementation of strategies across all relevant locations of functional support.
• Maintains a high level of communication with Management and contributes to the decision-making process by structuring and preparing HR team to best support the organization. Actively supports business initiatives and business needs with effective HR measures to promote positive employee relations in the work environment.
• Ensures all aspects of staffing, employee relations, employee development, compensation & benefits for all employees in your respective area of the adidas group are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant labor/commercial legislation, corporate guidelines and modern HR Management practices.
• In close co-ordination with Talent and global partners, supports and drives development initiatives in the areas of Training, career/succession planning and other Organizational Development efforts.
• Ensures smooth processes for recruitment and transfer activities for support functions in close cooperation with global competence centers and lead the recruitment for 1st and 2nd Line Management for designated partnerships.
• Manages personnel planning, annual salary rounds and promotions/salary adjustments for defined areas in accordance with GSMS-processes.
• Ensures strong HR reporting for respective functional areas in close cooperation with Controlling and global partners.
• Lead HR team members in Portland to give functional direction on global and regional strategies ensuring a harmonized approach to all relevant HR programs (one voice to the customer).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• MS-Office skills, SAP experience is a plus
• Experience in managing complex mid to large size projects within HR
• Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills to all employees including senior management.
• Ability to handle complicated employee relations issues including union drives/organizing attempts, discrimination claims, sexual harassment investigations and downsizing.
• Ability to coach, guide, manage and develop direct reports.
• Ability to effectively delegate work as appropriate and provide individual goals and development plans to staff.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Four year college or university degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Personnel Administration or other related field.
2. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in multi-national Human Resources Management with experience in HR Management, Rewards and Development.
3. Proven strategic HR business partner, with experience supporting business partners and contributing to the further development of standard/global HR tools and programs
4. Experience leading HR team on acquisition/divestiture and integration of a new organization is a plus.
