The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Print Production Project Manager located at our New York offices. The Print Production Project Manager at Brooks Brothers will be responsible for the production and execution of all marketing print pieces including catalogs, barricades, lease-required advertising and direct mail. They will ensure business owners are turning over deliverables in a complete and timely manner, the creative team is supported yet meeting deadlines, and they will liaise with outside vendors to manage schedules and uphold quality. This position will report into the Director of Marketing.
As Brooks Brothers leverages its 199-year history, prepares for its 200th anniversary, and prepares for its next 200 years, this role and the department it serves is a critical piece in the Marketing department in how we honor and respect our past while adapting to and leading our customers into the future of our brand's identity.
A key contributor to the marketing team, this individual must have a strong understanding of print production. They will identify and support marketing efforts and partner with cross functional teams to ensure development timelines and deadlines are met.
Key Accountabilities:
• Coordination and facilitation of all print marketing efforts
• Partner with various business owners to develop briefs and learn requirements for print projects, overseeing timelines, understanding collateral needs and keeping all projects on brand and on time
• Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure development timelines and deadlines are met
• Project manage and produce print catalogs from kickoff to in-home delivery
• Manage print budget by updating finance partner weekly with changes and accruals
• Support Director of Marketing with accurate project tracking and scheduling documentation
• Generate and route wire transfers and coordinate with finance department to ensure timely payment to USPS for all catalog and direct mail
• Coordinate with internal partners in global brand management, creative, copy, CRM, social purpose, PR, and legal
• Oversee art releases, retouching, approvals, pre-press, versioning and file release
• Order paper to be made to the specs of our product, in line with schedule
• Route all projects for approval with key stakeholders
• Partner with print vendors to ensure we are on spec and on budget
• Press check as needed
• Manage International, Canadian, and US logistics working with postal teams for cost savings and accurate in-home dates
• Summarize success and improvements needed for continuous seasonal planning and share best practices with you marketing colleagues
• Assist on ad hoc print and web projects as allocated by the Director of Marketing
Skills/Requirements
Preferred Experience & Technical Proficiencies:
• 3-4 years’ experience in print production
• Catalog experience a must
• Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to switch focus as necessary to accommodate deadlines and priorities
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with a variety of people across different disciplines
• Must be a team player who can motivate employees on all levels
• Ability to gather, organize and present information orally and in writing to groups and individuals in a variety of settings
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
