Description
As Global Nike Football Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing & implementing the integrated seasonal marketing plan. You will lead the seasonal IMM process ensuring timely deliverables at every Game Plan gate.
You will develop and maintain effective relationships with all category functions (merchandising, product, sales etc.) to ensure the seasonal marketing plan delivers against the category direction.
You will develop marketing briefs to inspire and guide brand creative development.
You will represent the voice of the consumer ensuring all marketing programs are rightly targeted to drive the brand strategy with the right consumer. You will partner with all marketing functions (digital, retail, communication, sport marketing etc.) to ensure an orchestrated offense is executed against the brand direction.
You will ensure support all Geographies in order for them to adopt, enrich and extend the seasonal creative initiatives within the local markets.
You will lead the process of recapping, evaluating and assessing the execution of the marketing initiatives in order to create compelling reports and learning.
You will act as the protector of the brand.
You will be expected to know and stay current on market trends, the competition, the consumer, and each of the geographies and you will be accountable for driving key metrics to improve and influence Nike's brand strength.
You will be part of a fast-paced, high energy, talented team of marketers that have a passion for sport and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree with preferably Marketing or Business related discipline
• 5+ years' progressively responsible marketing experience
• Experience in brand marketing, fluent in usage and knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms
• Demonstrated leadership in fostering continuous learning, empowerment, involvement and opportunities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and organizing contents for presentations; confident with public speaking
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team toward a vision and the development and execution of marketing plans
• Accountable for small projects or programs with manageable risks and resource requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, manage the matrix
• Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making, and work in a team environment
• Ability to travel up to 25-35% of the time
Preferred:
• Experience in one of Nike's key categories is preferred
