Primary Purpose:
Elevating and differentiating the customer experience in our stores is a core pillar of Coach’s Modern Luxury brand transformation. The Global Training Manager will be responsible for supporting the department’s product editorial and service training initiatives to help drive the Coach brand transformation and evolution to a full lifestyle brand. The training scope encompasses all global markets, both retail and outlet channels—both foundational category and seasonal product training, service and selling training priorities and editing content for the online training platform.

• Drive key product training content to support the department’s priorities and content roadmap in order to bring Coach’s Modern Luxury vision to life
• Drive key service and selling training priorities/ roadmap to support Coach’s Modern Luxury vision and customer experience and a robust associate training and development journey at Coach
• Assist in the creation of robust associate training tools which inspire and engage our Store Associate’s and enhance their individual development journey at Coach
• Develop product training across both retail and outlet channels globally:
◦ o Seasonal product knowledge
◦ Foundational category training
◦ Categories including handbags/SLGs, shoes, ready-to-wear, and accessories (including soft accessories, sunglasses, watches, jewelry and fragrance)
• Partner with Global Merchandising and Retail Training & Development teams to ensure elevated, globally relevant product training content and strong and effective implementation in every market
• Collaborate with broader training team to ensure a seamlessly integrated product and service training approach
• Leverage field feedback as well as Mystery Shopping and other programs to assess effectiveness of training programs and identify ongoing training needs and opportunities
• Leverage learning management system and store technology to improve effectiveness and scalability of training programs
The accomplished individual will possess...
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail training, development or editorial
• Experience in creating original editorial and learning tools
• Effective research, reporting/writing, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to create short films or animated videos to support key initiatives is a plus
• Ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships and communicate across all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
• Proficient on MAC and PC including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iWork, Apple Creative Suites, Final Cut Pro, Photography and Wordpress (or similar program).
