Finance Director - North America Running/Training
Description
As a North America Running/Training Finance Director you will be a key business partner for the NA Running and Training GMs as well as geo/global cross-functional leadership teams to drive consumer-led revenue growth as well as engineer profitability aligned with the category strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead the three-year long term financial and strategic planning processes, annual budgeting process and quarterly business reviews as well as manage the current year category financial forecast process
• Develop robust franchise financial plans to drive long-term growth, profitability and market share gains while ensuring healthy inventory levels
• Set and track appropriate seasonal revenue and margin targets to maximize marketplace opportunity and drive profitability
• Support geo merchandising on key pricing / pricing architecture decisions and provide feedback into game plan (pricing opportunities/risks, growth goals) through a product/growth driver lens to inform product creation/line decisions
• Support category team in holistically managing the business by connecting internal financials to external business performance indicators (i.e. sell through, market share, retail/DC inventory, etc.)
• Support in-year performance management through timely and insightful financial analysis, including analyzing category performance by product/distribution, to determine progress against strategic plans/budget/forecast as well as assess risks/opportunities
• Actively interpret and review financial results with cross functional business managers, deriving actionable insights to drive business decisions as well as perform scenario and investment analysis on new business opportunities

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis on Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred; 2 additional years’ experience in lieu of an advanced degree
• 8 years' extensive experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting, and/or budgeting
• 3 years proven leadership experience working with top-level leaders
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, investment analysis, and strategic planning concepts
• Superior interpersonal skills, strong ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers
• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities - Standout, positive attitude, and enthusiasm to drive business results
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check investigation
