Description
As Sales Director, you are the owner of the City Specialty accounts in the East territory and accountable for how the Nike brand shows up in these doors.
You'll be responsible for leading and developing your team to reach their goals.
You will lead your team to ensure we are maximizing commercial opportunities while maintaining the integrity of the Brand.
You'll drive local market execution to support brand initiatives and accelerators within key categories and consumer segments in the geography. You'll lead the local process execution of strategies that bring the NA commerce plan to life in the commercial landscape.
You'll utilize data to identify opportunities, gaps, and points of over-distribution in the City Specialty channel. You'll be responsible for assuring that the channel in the east territory reflects the overall brand principles and values.
You'll lead local account marketing and managed space process to assure that all investments are driving brand initiatives.
You'll lead the coordinated local integration of direct and indirect sales and marketing to drive brand excitement and profitability at retail.
In addition, you'll foster goodwill through building relationships and providing leadership in local community organizations.
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree, or additional 2 years of experience may be substituted for a degree
• 8+ years' work experience in applicable field required
• Experience leading retail sales efforts for a channel required
• Expert understanding of retail and in-store environment required
• Account product distribution strategy experience strongly preferred
• Budget management experience required. People management experience preferred
• Ability to travel up to 40% may be required
