We are currently looking for a Senior Production Artist and play a role in growing our business. As a member of the Global Marketing team, he/she will support the process of finalization and distribution for all advertising campaign materials, as well as the development of campaign guidelines for all communications channels.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee the guideline production and file development of the brand’s creative materials. They will also work closely with the internal production and creative team to bring new campaigns to market in a wide variety of creative executions including print, outdoor, in-store, and on-line channels through adaptation and evolution of creative materials for a wide range of required formats.
• Develop creative and aesthetic guidelines for all major global communications campaigns.
• Lead and participate in production discussion sessions with fellow designers.
• Work quickly and effectively to adapt creative materials to alternative formats.
• Help build and maintain key external partners for design and production resources.
• Liase with senior management to understand and develop guidelines for campaigns and other communications initiatives.
• Oversee photography of products and production of other campaign elements both in conjunction with other team members or external agencies, and on one’s own.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or relevant field of study, or 8+ years experience in similar field.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in print/brand design.
• Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation including: concept ideation; design development; and resource allocation/management.
• Thorough understanding of print process, color theory and typography.
• Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Quark all on the Macintosh platform.
• Ability to function autonomously as well as in a cooperative, diverse group.
• Leadership capabilities, including ability to motivate and mentor others within work group.
• Strong information seeking skills and a penchant for resourcefulness.
• Tremendous attention to detail, and extraordinary time-management skills.
• Experience in the fashion, athletic/apparel industry a plus.
