As an Intern you will learn about the retail and ecommerce industry; participate in a collaborative business project, volunteer opportunities, corporate training. Responsibilities
As a Proofreading intern, you will:
• Proofread catalogs, blogs, articles, and other marketing materials according to accepted editorial standards and established style guidelines for content, style, accuracy and cohesiveness.
• Proof projects using an online proofing program, multitasking various assignments in an organized and efficient way in order to meet assigned deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members throughout the company to ensure accuracy of content, adherence to standardized processes, and achievement of production deadlines.
• Assist in updating and maintaining Footlocker.com/Eastbay Style Guide and Glossary.
• Assist in organizing and routing various projects through different departments by utilizing project-management software.
Qualifications
Preferred majors: English, Communications and Journalism.
To qualify for an internship with Footlocker.com/Eastbay, individuals must:
• Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2018 graduate
• Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary.
• Schedule according to the following business hours: Summer internship hours are Monday-Friday (40 hours/week). Internships begin on June 5, 2018 and end August 18, 2018. Any exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
