External Job Description
The CRM Marketing Analyst is the key lead in the development of data driven insights. The Analyst’s role is to discover insights, develop strategies, design tests, build recommendations, and implement optimized marketing programs. The analyst is driving both customer engagement and equity for the brand.
• Design, execute and interpret data analyses to make recommendations that further drive customer acquisition, increase customer equity, improve the customer engagement and create measurable business impact
• Perform analyses of marketing/other partners’ needs that develop insights. Make recommendations on these areas of optimization.
• Create segments of customers based on similar purchase patterns, and category specific recent purchases to support targeted marketing programs
• Work with business partners on the full life-cycle of data related projects from requirements analysis and design through development.
• Ad hoc tasks/analysis as assigned by Sr. Manager.
• Develop weekly/monthly/dashboard reports focusing on KPI’s that measure customer segment behavioral purchases, analytics differences, demographic profiles, contact groupings, database health, customer equity, and customer engagement. Provide reports, data as well as actionable insights and opportunities with key stakeholders
Requirements
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience preferably in database marketing or business intelligence. Experience in a retail organization is a plus.
• Four year college degree in mathematics and statistical analysis is preferred
• Experience using SQL, SAS, R, Access, or SPSS to analyze, manipulate data, investigate data problems, model, cluster, attribution analysis, variant analysis, and develop reports preferred
• Strong Problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills and the proven ability to use raw data to generate insights that drive results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a , fast paced, environment.
