Our "halo" brand, under which men's and women's high-end designer apparel and accessories, as well as items for the home, are sold. This line was formerly called Calvin Klein Collection. Representing pure, refined luxury, distribution is through our wholesale partners across the globe (in stores and online), through our retail flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City, as well as on calvinklein.com. Calvin Klein By Appointment, a bespoke collection, was launched in April 2017.
The CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC Merchandising intern will be exposed to the wholesale and merchandise operations that connect with global merchandising strategies for all distribution channels. He or she will also be exposed to the development and executions of the product line plan vision and the global line planning process as related to CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC .
What to expect?
• Learn about product knowledge seminars given to associates across the US in order to train them how to best sell our product.
• Partner with planning and distribution staff to review merchandise plans and effective distribution strategies.
• Review materials included in buy books, product knowledge packets, and help with assessing sales
• Assist with competitive research & vendor analysis across the US-CA to understand geographic distribution of product.
Candidates should possess:
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel
• Keen attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Good collaborator and team-player approach
Additional Program Information:
• Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program and be eligible to work in the U.S.
• The paid internship is based out of our NY offices and is not eligible for relocation or visa sponsorship.
• Candidates will be expected to work a minimum of 16 hours per week and can work a maximum of 28 hours per week
• The Spring Internship session will begin Monday, January 22 and conclude Friday, April 27.
