Licensing Coordinator MLB
Responsibilities
• Responsible for Quality Control Review and Licensor submission of MLB designs to ensure all items are Licensor approved prior to production.
• Liaison with Licensor Quality Control and Licensing Departments.
• Review designs and design names for copyright and trademark clearance.
• Maintain FMS, Liquid Planner and Demand Made artwork tracking system to ensure system follows stages of art through production process.
• Maintain electronic graphic image library accessed by Operations and Sales personnel.
• Provide Licensor samples pursuant to license requirement.
• Obtain licensing materials and resources for Art, Product Development and Merchandising departments.
• Publish licensing changes to our Operations, Product Development teams and external sublicensing and subcontractor partners.
• Maintain Asset db for all licensor trademarks.
• Manage Licensing correspondence including approval documentation, royalties and compliance.
• Set up player Id codes used in ecom for all players to include team, jersey and accurate spelling of player name.
• Assist Licensing Manager and Licensing Supervisor with applications, renewals, royalty reporting, and quality control review as determined by Licensing Manager.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, although not a requirement
• 1 to 2 years related or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to work overtime and/or flexible hours upon request
• Ability to multitask between projects
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Accounting and/or administrative experience a plus
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines
• Previous experience in Licensing preferred, although not a requirement
