Import Production Coordinator

Position Summary:
Provide support to the Director of Sourcing & to assist Import Production Managers with maintaining the highest level of quality standards and timely delivery of garments in order to meet the goals of the Company. Coordinate and track all reports, such as PDR and work in progress (WIP) and distribute to all team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review & respond to daily communications from all Overseas vendor correspondences
• Track and monitor Import packages from Overseas - incoming and outgoing
• Prepare weekly reports- info based from emails from Vendors. Send out comments/questions to vendors based from weekly staff meeting questions & comments.
• Work and support Design with lab dips, trims, bulk approvals. Responsible to send comments out to vendors
• Track fit/pp sample sent by vendors as well as track comments sent out by Tech Design in order to update WIP reports.
• Work in tandem with Custom Compliance/Logistic Manager for men's, women's & handbag import shipments- advising booking confirmations
• Provide assistance to Director of Sourcing and Production Managers as needed.
• Review and timely submit invoices where and when needed
• Provide assistance with resolving any issues or concerns related to production
Job Requirements:
• Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Computer Skills, Typing, Excel
