Job Description
POSITION TITLE: E-Commerce Web Analyst
POSITION PURPOSE:
The E-Commerce Web Analyst is a critical role, reporting to the Sr. Analyst of E-Commerce and is responsible for analyzing and optimizing web usage for all Guess? brands across North America. As a core member of the E-commerce Analytics team, the Analyst is responsible for analyzing site behavior such as traffic, basket size, path to purchase funnels, cross-device behavior, and conversion. The Analyst will measure, monitor, and understand usage patterns and clearly articulate actionable/accurate insights and recommendations to support sales, marketing, merchandising, creative, and business strategies. Must maintain, enhance, and further develop automated dashboards for all web properties in addition to performing ad-hoc analysis. The Analyst will also develop A/B and multivariate testing plans to identify and continuously optimize the user experience across all devices. Need to stay informed about best practices around analytics, UX/UI, and current trends within the industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Analyze web usage trends including visitor and purchaser behaviors. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to address specific projects and requests. Test and implement new presentations of products and functionalities to improve user experience across devices. Customize the user experience with dynamic content and product recommendations based on custom attributes and affinities. Segment performance and behavior among different device types to help improve UI and UX designs while bringing a cohesive experience across multiple touchpoints. Establish key performance indicators(KPIs) and standardize reports to deliver perceptive and actionable recommendations. Monitor site sales, KPIs and metrics to uncover strategic insights and action plans to provide actionable recommendations. Provide in-depth reporting and analysis of all recommendations, testing & personalization campaign performances. Develop insights and recommendations to the E-commerce team and other departments to help improve future marketing campaigns, programs and promotions.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-4 Years
