Reporting to the VP of Global Merchandising & Design Operations, the purpose of the Project Coordinatorposition is to provide support to the Global Merchandising and Design Operations team by managing all logistics and administrative responsibilities related to global milestone meetings, senior level cross functional meetings, Merchandising Leadership meetings and ad-hoc projects throughout the year.
Responsibilities
• Manage global milestone meeting logistics and related administrative responsibilities including but not limited to – Seasonal Concept, Sketch Review, Briefing, LAW (Levi’s® Assortment Workshop) and FLA (Final Line Assortment)
• On-going ownership of scheduling cross functional and offsite MLT meetings including ownership of agenda development, location / logistics, facilities, catering, etc.
• Logistical meeting support for Merch U program and GTM meetings
• Support M&D team with ad-hoc projects and administrative duties as related to events planning and project management
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree required
• 3+ years experience within the apparel industry or in an administrative role
• Merchandising or operations experience with an apparel manufacturer, retailer or marketer preferred
• Experience with event planning a strong asset
• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
• Responsible to manage a budget of approximately $500k / year
• Proven ability to create strong and effective working relationships cross functionally at all levels of the organization
• Ability to influence key stakeholders, often at a senior level
• Extremely detail oriented and thorough, with strong follow-up skills.
• Ability to effectively problem solve
• Proficient with software applications, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to effectively source hotels, dinner reservations, catering, etc.
