JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Analyst, Global Brand Strategy will support the Global Brand Strategy Director in (a) developing global brand strategy across all LS&Co brands and (b) collaborating cross functionally to activate brand strategy across all regions and channels. Additionally, this role will help support the Project Management Organization within the Global Brands Strategy team, effectively monitoring all mission critical global strategy projects on an ongoing basis.
• This individual will support Business Leaders across all brands by conducting analysis that delivers understanding of market dynamics, competition, and profitability levers.
• He/She will support regional and/or global initiatives where needed as part of a global team.
• The Senior Analyst will be an integral part of the LS&Co. strategy team, and will collaborate with company-wide strategic teams to deliver regional and/or global projects.
Key Results:
• Supports the Global Brands Strategy Director and/or business leaders by conducting analysis to answer key questions or issues facing the brands and businesses.
• With high level guidance, structures analyses to answer identified questions.
• Handles analyses well and independently
• Able to support team members and drive project outcomes.
• Can support and prioritize multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the development of global brand strategy, leveraging insights across all aspects of the business (consumer, market, competitive, brand, channel etc).
• Support the development of the Annual Strategic Business Plan across all brands (Levi’s, Dockers, Signature, Denizen)*
• Support the Project Management Office within the brand strategy group, ensuring strategic projects across the Brand organization are tracking towards their goals on an ongoing basis.
Skills & Experience:
• BA/BS degree (bachelor degree in business or psychology a plus).
• At least 2-3 years of experience at a top tier management consulting firm, internal strategy team, market research firm or equivalent analyst experience
• Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills conducive to team dynamics
• Experience developing and analyzing brand and/or business strategies; participating in large-scale projects and processes across business functions.
• Apparel industry experience and/or experience building Lifestyle brands is a plus.
• Previous experience in working in a global environment is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to communicate across multiple functions and drive participation and partnership
• Exceptional analytical expertise/skills
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to meet new requirements and a dynamic job environment
• Hungry to learn, problem-solve and make an impact on the organization and performance
• Strong written and oral communication skills
